The other way to be in Everest base camp via Cho-la pass but it takes more 2 to 3 additional, which route is more adventurous and loop trek route of Everest base camp including adventure high pass Cho-la as well as beautiful Himalayan lakes Gokyo and amazing view of Nogzumba glacier form Gokyo peak.
Some trekkers they also trek via Jiri which is drive to Jiri more or less 8 hours, from Jiri , drive to Shivalaya and trek to Everest base camp. In this case we need more 5 days additional for the Everest base camp trek via Jiri. From Jiri we still can drive until Bhandra but the condition of road is not that good, it is a hilly route with rough road.

Food and drinks are easily available for purchase during the Everest base camp trek route, Depend what do you like eat for the breakfast lunch and diner, for the normal breakfast they serve Toast, Eggs, tea, coffee, potatoes as well, can also order noodles soups. For the lunch diner, most of the lodges has Food Menu and can choose the food to order yourself.
It is strongly recommended to drink safe drinking water, boiled water or use water purification tablets or use ultra violet water bottle to make your water safe, safe drinking water is also available to buy but costing high.
