Detailed Itinerary of 6 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Jhinu Danda
Max. Altitude: 1,110m (Nayapul), 1,760m (Jhinu Danda)
Trek Duration: 5-6 hours + 2 hours of drive
Accommodation: Teahouse/Lodge
Your journey starts today with a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. The drive will be about two hours. Nayapul is the starting point of the trek. You begin your trek towards the entrance spot; Birethanti village. Birethanti is also the checkpoint for your trek permit and TIMS card.
Completing the formalities, you continue your trek. You gradually start ascending upwards following the river bank and local settlements. The villages are full of beautiful scenery, unique lifestyle, and traditions. The major tribes you meet are Gurung and Magar.
Crossing Modi Khola comes an uphill gorge which you pass. Finally, you reach Jhinu Danda. Jhinu Danda is the refreshing spot to begin your trek. You can enjoy the soothing bath at natural hot springs. You can also explore the awesome surroundings around Jhinu.
Day 02: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Bamboo

After having breakfast, you will ascend via stone staircase. You will cross the river swaying on a long suspension bridge. Then, you pass through deep forests of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak. Crossing Chhomrong Khola, you will reach the beautiful village of Chhomrong. Then, you will reach Sinuwa where you’ll have lunch. Walking through the forest trails for few hours and passing Khuldighar village, you will reach Bamboo.
Day 03:Trek from Bamboo to Deurali

Leaving Bamboo, you head towards long, steep, and slippery stone staircase. The whole day is a complete uphill where you pass villages like Dovan and Himalaya.
At the start, your walk passes through stairs within bamboo forest. The environment is damp and cool before you reach Dovan. You will have your lunch at Dovan and continue the ascent. The steep stairs then lead you to Hotel Himalaya. Then, the forest opens up and you spot Hinku cave.

Day 04: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

Day 05: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa Danda
