Annapurna Region
The Annapurna Range consists of the massive of Annapurna I, II, III, IV and the Annapurna south peak. The range also includes the famous Machhapuchhre, the “Fishtail” Mountain –mascot of Pokhara. The trek which you are going to do is Ghorepani the main village of Poon family of Magar cast of Myagdi district. View point called Poon Hill is named by the family name of this local people. You will get to see from here nearly 15 mountain ranges including two peaks which are over 8000 meters. After crossing the Ghorepani trek will turned to Tadapani Chhomromg or Ghandrung. Which is Gurung village and and who are still famous in the world as a Gorkha Solder. Then we the path lead through the Valley being very close to the mountain.
