Please Keep your copy of the visa clearance letter handy. Passport-sized photographs are no longer required and your visa has been paid. Meet your guide and driver at the terminal outside of the building and transfer to Thimphu. The Distance from Paro to Thimpu is approx. 50 KM and it takes One ours and twenty minutes with slow and enjoyable car ride. visit to the Drukgyal Dzong (18 Kms.) on the way offering magnificent view of Mt. Chomolhari. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan including Tashichho Dzong – 17th Century, presently Govt. Secretariat building. Overnight at hotel with evening cultural program by Royal Dance group. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Thimpu and return to Paro city.
Visit Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, and Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts, and Tashicho Dzong. Upon an available time, you will also visit the Zangdopelri temple, paper factory, and other sights. Later transfer to Paro.
Day 03: In Paro, Hike Tiger's Nest Monastery and Sightseeing
In Paro, hike to visit Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), it takes about 2.5 hours to reach this amazing fortress situated at an elevation of 3180 m above sea level. It takes almost 2.5 hours to walk up at an average walk. (Almost Five hours hike (back and forth), some gentle and some steep hike, some stony footpath and some good ones) If you ride a horse upward it will cost an extra US$25 per person. It is optional as the tour can be done as per your requirement instead of hiking
Later visit Kichu Lhakhang, Ringpung Zong, and National Museum and stroll around the town and see how locals live.
Day 04: Paro – Departure.
After early breakfast drive to airport to catch the flight to your onward destination.
