Route and climatic conditions
The road from Kathmandu to Kodari (Nepal and China border) is quite narrow but black topped and the last 25 km before Nepal Tibet before is bit adventure in the sense that most of its part is bumpy and dusty with lots of landslide areas. The other side of the border (i.e. in Tibet) till NYALAM is the same mountainous road with so many twist and turns. The terrain in the high Tibetan plateau is also not in a good condition with lots of bumps, dust and some part of the road is gravelled but most of its terrain is made by vehicles. Tibet is cold, dry, windy and dusty.N it is even colder than the day. Heavy rain and strong icy winds are common features during monsoon in High Mountain. Flooding rivers and landslides are frequent. The average elevation of the Tibetan plateau is around 4000 meters.

Kailash pilgrimage

Absolutely amazing!!! Subash had everything so well organised. Literally just had to book my flight and everything else was arranged. I’m so happy with my trip and can’t wait to come back to Nepal with these guys next year. Highly recommend if your looking to trek in Tibet or Nepal as these guys will make it so easy, no need to search for hotels etc. I stayed in a great hotel (hotel access) for 4 nights before my trek and all included in the package. Was so impressed. Really really happy with how good it was

Pigrimage to Kailash with exciting Nepal Trek

A fantastic Tour and planning all over! Worth doing and excellent service support!
I did 1 week Langtang Trekking (1600 – 5100m),
2 week Kailash pilgrimage – my main purpose – and
1 week monasteries around Nepal.
The exciting Nepal Treks Manager Subash convinced through very professional and reliable Email- Phone-communication in advance of the tour, so that I dared to fly to Kathmandu by myself without having permits for China. As promised by him, he managed the Visa excellent.

He provided a very empathic, good English speaking personal guide (Shuman) for my Langtang trekking. There I was deeply impressed by the beauty of the nature and the stroke of the earthquake, form which the people still are suffering.

The following 12 Days Tibet-tour to Kailash and Guge via Kyerong was carried out through a Lhasa-Agent with a different group. The choice of the hotels on road could have been a bit more carefully. The Kailash Kora was a deep spiritual experience lead by a very experienced tibetan guide form China, who took great care of every team member.
Subash provided good recommendations for my wish on a Ktm monastery stay and showed extraordinary engagement to find a special monastery, which I wouldn’t succeed in without his help. Always listening and fulfilling to personal needs.
The commercial handling was easy, trustful and professional. I didn’t compare prices. He works together with Hotel Access Nepal in Thamel.

All in all I was very satisfied and would organize a tour again with him. Enjoy it, if you do it as well.
