Khayer Lake is one of the popular attractions during the Khopra Danda Trek. Khopra Danda to Khayer Lake is a 4-6 hours walk. You can take an extra day and head to the beautiful lake at the foot of the glorious mountain. The trails are not crowded as many people don’t use this trail. The difficulty of the trek is slightly higher if you are planning to take the Khopra Danda to Khayer Lake trek as well. High altitude

Remote trails

It may be hard for some people to deal with the forest trails without much civilization on the way. So prepare yourself mentally before the trek.

Weather conditions

If you are trekking in autumn or spring, you won’t have any issues or difficulties. But if you are traveling during the rainy season or the winter season, the trail can be very challenging. The weather conditions during the rainy season may cause the remote trails to be muddy and slippery causing the route to be difficult to trek. The winter snow may also cause the road to be slippery. So be careful on the way.

Overcoming all these difficulties, you can reach the Khopra Danda and enjoy the view and know that all the hardships were worth it.
