The devastating earthquake back in 2015 destroyed most houses in the Langtang villages. But now they are building in even better. There are more hotels and tea houses.

Best Time for Langtang Valley Trek 10 Days
Langtang valley trek is doable throughout the year. But, there are certain months that are better for specific reasons. September to December and March to May are two best seasons to visit Langtang valley.
During these months, the sky is clear and the mountains look sharp. And you can trek through lush vegetation and Rhododendron forest.
Weather and Temperature of Langtang
Weather and temperature in Langtang depend upon the seasons. The lower altitude does not get too hot in summer, and too cold in winter.
During Autumn Langtang trek, the weather stays warm and stable. The mornings and nights get cold, and you can hike in comfort during the day. The maximum temperature can get up to 15°C and it can get as low as -3°C.
The precipitation is low during this season, which makes it ideal for trekking.
During the spring season, the trail becomes stunning. The forest becomes beautiful with Rhododendrons blossoms all around. The maximum and minimum temperature can get up to 20 and around 0°C respectively.
Langtang trek is not ideal for summer. The temperature can get up to 32°C, and precipitation increases as well. During this season, the trail becomes complicated as there are high chances of landslides occurring.
During winter, the Langtang village becomes cold at night and warm during the day. However, this region gets a significant amount of snowfall each year. The temperature can get up to 8°C during the day, but it gradually decreases as the night falls. Minus degrees temperature is common in Langtang in winter.
Weather during Autumn and Spring seasons remain calm and stable. But it can get worse in winter, and landslides make it worse in monsoon.
Langtang Valley Trek Difficulties
Langtang valley trek is moderate when it comes to difficulties. There are enough accommodations, and the trail is not that challenging. But one should never underestimate anything. Here are some of the difficulties one might face during the Langtang Valley Trek 11 days.
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness is the primary factor that increases the difficulty of any trek. It is true that you do not gain altitude in Langtang valley as you do in the Everest region. But altitude sickness is still a mystery.
It does not matter how fit you are, what your age is, or what gender you are. Altitude sickness can hit anyone at any moment.
If you get altitude sickness, descend immediately. Go to the lower altitudes, catch your breath, and rest if you have to. And if you start climbing, you should walk on your pace and rest between every few minutes.
Diamax is the medicine for altitude sickness, that you can buy without prescription in Kathmandu. Still, I would suggest you consult your doctor before taking any medicine with you.
Remoteness and Unavailability
The Langtang valley trek 11 days takes you to some of the most remote areas of Nepal. These areas do not have proper roads and modes of transportation. Everything needs to be carried or flown to Langtang valley.
You would not want to get sick or injured in such remote places. If anything happens, the nearest hospital could be days away, and you might need an emergency helicopter for the rescue.
It is difficult to even complete the basic needs in these regions. There is no proper electricity, and foods tend to become expensive there. Considering the difficulty in getting things, the prices seem fair. However, it does make this trek challenging.
There are lots of landslides areas in Langtang. Walking across some of them can be challenging and you have to be careful every second.
