Helicopter Flight
Helicopter flight takes you through the Khumbu region and lands at Kalapatthar the highest point of the trip. Helicopter flights are about 3-4 hours long.
You will make a landing there and roam around the area for 15 minutes. And again fly back to your starting point.
Helicopter flights are easy and safe but can be a little bumpy due to weather conditions at higher altitudes. But if you have your safety belt on then there will be no problem.
Sometimes the aircraft can’t lift five people up to Kalapatthar so they do shuttles and leave two or three people in Pheriche.
After dropping them, it would be safe not to walk towards the back of the helicopter due to the Tail Rotor.
Also, the pilots fly in the limit while going in higher altitudes and use less fuel to have the extra margin for power.
As for weathers, they are unpredictable higher-ups so the crew members ask in advance to locals about it. And the flights are mostly done in clear weather.
